When someone asks you how you became a Christian, do you answer with "Because I...(accepted Christ, commited by life to Christ etc)?" Alistair preaches through Romans 8:33-36 and shwos that if we are in Christ, no one may bring a charge against us because we are saved completely through Christ. In this excerpt he cross references Romans 8 with Hebrews 7 to show that we are totally covered in Christ's blood shed on the cross.

Romans 8:33-36 "Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died--more than that, was raised--who is at the right hand of GOd, who indeed is interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger or sword? As it is written, 'For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.' "
