No different from today, the early church was challenged to dismiss conflicting influences and remain rooted in the truth of the Gospel. In his letter to the Colossians, the Apostle Paul warned the church in Colossae to reject worldly falsehoods, superstition, mythology and even error in doctrinal translation – all influences still prevalent today.
In our current online series, Alive In Christ, we continue to study Paul’s instruction on this topic and are reminded that Christianity is not an exclusive “club” that requires experiential commonalities but is inclusive and open to everyone. Join Alistair Begg as he continues Alive In Christ.
