A Biblical Approach to Anxiety

Alistair Begg turns to a passage of Scripture that confronts a common pitfall: worry. Though we’re anxious about a diversity of issues and personal circumstances, the Bible calls us to deal with each of our worries in the same way: we’re to unload them onto the Lord Himself.

Bravo!
This encore message is just what I needed to hear this morning. God has been merciful and faithful to remind me that He is in control of EVERYTHING, and that I need to be humble enough to accept the fact I fall into needless despair and worry when I try to take over.

Thanks TFL

Thank you,
Every morning I wake up thinking of the day. Anxiety starts to build, I work myself into a state of tension. Instead I need to focus on the pilot. The one who is in contol.
Thank you

Pastor Beggs application of 1Peter 5:7, includes verses 5 and 6, and the greek. I had memorized vs. 7 because of AWANA.
That we do not include vss. 5&6 is sad. These provide the NECESSARY prep to accomplish casting our cares on our Lord.
I am at once dissappointed that I did not realize this connection before this program, and so grateful for Pastors teaching. Anxiety steals the peace we could have if we could only grasp the conection of humility and casting our cares on Him. I love Him! Our Lord is so good!

Today’s message is a real blessing to me personally. Pastor Beggs’ gift delivered an important message that I needed to hear and intend to pass on. Only an occasional listener, today's occasion riveted me while driving to work in beautiful Lewis County Washington. The reality and personal relevance of God's Word concerning anxiety and His love connected in a deep and rewarding way. I pray that nothing gets between the delivery of God's amazing grace and those that are so blessed by your messages. God's speed to you, Pastor Beggs, and everyone who supports your ministry.
