The Biblical Pattern for Husbands — Part Two

Colossians 3:19  (ID: 1078)

Harshness, thoughtlessness, and selfishness on the part of husbands sometimes leads to wives looking outside their marriages to fulfill their needs. While neither behavior is right, Alistair Begg addresses how a husband can live in such a way as to communicate to his wife that she is secure in his affection, consideration, respect, and honor. It all starts with a biblical framework—one in which the husband asks himself, “Is my love for and response to my wife akin to what I read in 1 Corinthians 13?”
