“Give Thanks”

1 Thessalonians 5:18  (ID: 1829)

It’s easy to give thanks when everything is going smoothly. But what about when the circumstances in our life take a turn for the worse? As hard as it might be, the apostle Paul called his readers to give thanks in all circumstances, and all of Scripture supports that admonition. Alistair Begg suggests that the key to having this kind of attitude is a firm understanding of God’s providence, knowing that He works to conform the believer to the image of Christ.
