Hollow Religion

Luke 11:37  (ID: 2168)

When he invited Jesus to a meal, a Pharisee got more than He bargained for: Jesus confronted him with his own hypocrisy! Exploring this surprising encounter, Alistair Begg explains that while religion was the primary concern of the Pharisees, it was almost always hollow and false. Jesus’ rebuke should be a warning to us too: God is interested first in what we are before He looks at what we do.
