Archbishop Temple said, "To return evil for good is devilish. To return good for good is human. To return good for evil is divine." Forgiveness is not some little extra part of the Christian experience; it is at the very heart of it. Yet, each of us, if we're honest, is inclined to discover and condemn the faults of others while passing lightly over our own sorry sins. How, then, can we forgive people who wrong us? Should we have to? What happens if we refuse to forgive someone? Jesus tackles these very issues in Luke 6:36-38, and in this booklet, Alistair Begg looks at what those verses mean for the Christian.
