Contentment or Corruption? — Part Two

Are you a lover of money? In his first letter to Timothy, Paul warned the young pastor about the desire to accumulate wealth and reminded him that a discontented spirit is peculiarly susceptible to temptation. There is no kind of evil to which the love of money may not lead, often resulting in one’s departure from the faith. Alistair Begg encourages us to heed Paul’s warning and keep Jesus Christ as the foundational desire and love of our lives.
