Faith Is The Victory

Toward the end of his first epistle, the Apostle John provides assurance of salvation to believers by distinguishing between sincere faith and cursory interest. Alistair Begg turns our attention to John’s comforting words, which teach us that those who have genuine faith will be known by the sacrificial nature of their love and obedience. Faith in the historical reality of Christ, the Bible reminds us, leads to certainty in our salvation and victory that “overcomes the world.”
