Speaker Voddie Baucham of Grace Family Baptist Church in Spring, Texas, introduced the topic of “Family Shepherds” at one of several breakout sessions held during the first day of the Basics 2012 Pastor’s Conference at Parkside Church. Voddie Baucham presented four key attributes of the often overlooked role of fathers: the necessity of family discipleship and evangelism, the need for marriage enrichment, the importance of child training, and the need to have a reflective time of lifestyle evaluation.
