A Funeral Song

Saddened by God’s impending judgment on Israel, Amos lamented over the nation that once held so much promise, but had become devoted to the routines of worship, rather than to God. Amos entreated them to once again seek God and seek good rather than evil. Similarly, Alistair Begg entreats us to avoid the delusion of a religion that leaves the lives of the people unchanged and devote ourselves to trusting and obeying God.
