God’s Faithfulness in Affliction
We often praise God for His faithfulness in times of joy, but in this study of 1 Peter, we discover that God reveals His faithfulness in our suffering and disappointment as well. Alistair Begg describes the Biblical reality of suffering in the Christian life and examines what can be said with certainty about God’s purposes during times of suffering. Affliction can produce bitterness, or it can produce a deeper relationship with God if it is combined with faith and a willingness to be trained by the trial.
