Jesus on the Road to Emmaus
Like the disciples on the road to Emmaus, we are often clueless as to what Jesus is up to. Thankfully, though, just as He was patient with them, so He is also patient with us, gently pointing us back to God’s Word and calling on His people to wait for the power of God’s Spirit. As the Bible and history demonstrate, Christians armed with the Word and the Spirit can change the world. In light of this, Alistair Begg challenges us with a question: Why are we so timid? We are equipped for this task… so let’s go do it!
