God intends for the Bible to accomplish certain aims, including converting and building up believers. Sometimes, though, we are guilty of not letting the Word to do its work. We don’t always trust it and begin to rely on other techniques. Instead, says Edward Lobb, we must get out of the way by having confidence in Scripture and preaching with faithfulness and boldness. It will not return void!
