The God of All Grace

In his first epistle, Peter exhorted church leaders to shepherd their people with humility and holiness. As Alistair Begg teaches, Peter was not just proposing abstract theories; he had to learn these lessons himself. Similarly, every pastor today must learn humility in Christ. Peter urged ministers, and indeed all Christians, to receive God’s promises to strengthen and restore us to Himself—another blessing Peter experienced in great abundance.
