Holy Day or Holiday (Part 2 of 4)

Holy Day or Holiday (Part 2 of 4)

Pathway to Freedom

Here are the Maker’s instructions, and it’s time to give them careful attention. As our culture begins to recognize that “self-ism” has not led to peace and contentment, but rather to pain and confusion, there is a new quest for spiritual meaning. In these guidelines God speaks with authority, not offering us what we want, but showing us what we need. We have here not a ladder up which we climb to acceptance with God, but a mirror, which exposes our sin and sends us to Christ as Savior. For the Christian to keep these commandments is to walk in the fullness and freedom that our Heavenly Father intends.
