We live in a world that is preoccupied with personality, and the influence of high-profile celebrities has a significant impact on the way people think and live. In contrast to this cult of human personality, the Bible is filled with examples of how God delights in using ordinary people in extraordinary ways.
These studies recount the lives of biblical characters that were used by God much like a clay pot in the hands of its maker. Some will be familiar and others will be new found friends. Through them we’ll discover the characteristics which mark useful people and see the potential of an "ordinary" person who is taken up and used by God for His eternal purposes -- like a jar of clay.
