The Corinthian church had been marked by division, favoritism, immorality, lawsuits and by doctrinal confusion, yet at the end of Paul’s first letter to them we see his affection for them. In the last verse of the 15th chapter his final loving encouragement reminds them and us that with God, failure is never final.
