Declaring His Praise

As the church, Christ calls us to “declare the praises” of the God who reconciled us to himself through the death of his Son. How are we doing? Is the preaching and proclaiming of the Gospel central as we gather each Sunday? Do our attitudes toward our worship services proclaim God’s praises to those who are watching us?

Unusually intense and passionate, even for Pastor Begg!

"We are made for praise." Pastor lays out the wisdom of 1 Peter 2:9, with additional scriptural references from Romans 15:5 and Isaiah 43:21. Corporate worship matters - how we execute our daily walk in all the routine areas of life matters immensely, and very important among the routine things we do is Sunday corporate worship.

Pastor made the statement "Unless there is genuine heart communion with Christ, there is no genuine heart communion with each other. And unless we have genuine heart communion in both areas, what we have here is simply superficial and a sham." AMEN!

I for one love my church, but am sick of the growing trend toward a circus atmosphere that has all the authenticity of plastic wrap. Good, sincere Christians and a great Pastor, but still, I am so glad to have Pastor Begg speak for my heart in this matter.

This is the highest rating I've ever given one of Pastor's sermons. It is a 5-star preaching and really should not be missed.
