Follow the Pattern

As Paul prepared for death, he wanted to ensure that Timothy held tight to the faith. Echoing the apostle, Alistair Begg implores us to “guard the good deposit” and follow the pattern of sound teaching exemplified by Paul. Faithfulness to God’s Word requires diligence, and if we do not believe well, we will not live well. We live in a confused culture and a compromised church, so we must hold to our convictions by faith and the love of Jesus.
