In this special preconference session, Keith Getty explains the modern hymns that he, his writing partner Stuart Townend, and his wife, Kristyn, seek to create. Using examples such as “In Christ Alone,” “Speak O Lord,” and “Creation Sings the Father’s Song,” Getty unpacks why the songs were written, what the team had in mind when they wrote them, and how to use them in churches. The session concludes with a time for questions from the audience.
