In our lives or churches, if the Bible’s authority is replaced with tradition or human wisdom, the world will not see Christ’s true character. The essence of authority is seen in the person of Jesus as He taught, performed miracles, and forgave sins. To rightly glorify Jesus and display His lordship to the world, Alistair Begg challenges us to submit to Christ by living under His control, obeying His direction, and performing His works.
