Paul prayed in tongues privately. In corporate worship, however, he taught that it was better to avoid confusion and instead practice intelligible gifts that build up the local church body. As Alistair Begg walks us through Paul’s teaching on the gift of tongues, he encourages us to pray for gifts that will edify the Church and make it possible for those in attendance to say, “God is here!”
