Temptation

After our conversion, sin no longer reigns, but it does remain. The Christian, Alistair Begg explains, must continually war against it. While temptation does not come from God, He allows it in order to test us, while the devil aims to bring us down and destroy us. We must therefore deal with sin immediately, ruthlessly, and consistently. Thankfully, our merciful God always provides a way of escape.
