Little is known of Caleb except that he was committed to stand against the tide of popular opinion if God's glory was at stake. His confidence was in God's power and presence, not in his own ability. He stood firm in his faith in the midst of fear and looked forward to the fulfillment of God's promises. The Church today needs men and women prepared to be like Caleb, committed to living lives of consistency, maturing in faith, and pressing on to triumph in Christ, regardless of fear or popular consensus.
