The wind has changed. The majority of Western society is no longer made up of Bible-believing Christians. In fact, the wind appears to be blowing hard behind the forces of secularism and paganism. So how do believers find the courage to hold firm to our faith in a culture where we're increasingly becoming strangers and aliens?
Brave by Faith by Alistair Begg looks back to the days of Daniel during his exile in Babylon to encourage us to hold the line of our biblical beliefs. Alistair explains that the message of Daniel is incredibly relevant for us in our generation, not because it maps out a strategy for how to deal with our new minority status but because it teaches us to trust in the eternal God who is sovereign over the affairs of our world, including the rise and fall of kings and nations.

Dear Mr Begg, I have just finished your book - Brave By Faith. I have no words. I read it in a couple of sittings. I want to say something wonderful and clever and encouraging, but I have no words; apart from THANK YOU. PRAISE THE LORD.

On my birthday in 2019 I gave my family a keepsake bookmark of spiritual warfare prayers: Eph 6, 2 Cor 4, & "A Mighty Fortress is our God." The intervening two years have shown a great increase of satanic attacks and accusations against God and His people. "Brave by Faith" will be my gift to them on this 2021 birthday as it so soberly advises us of the trials ahead, but encourages us that our Lord will be with us in those trials and finally we will be with Him forever. Loved this book. Easy to read and so encouraging. Our world is ever changing and right now it is more than a little unsettling and yet, like Daniel we find out a lot about ourselves when we are challenged to draw our lines and pick our battles. Would definitely recommend to others and have already shared my book with another.

I am thankful to God to write a review on the book "Brave by Faith" by Alistair Begg. He made it so clear that we can be courageous as Christians when our faith is in God who alone can give us faith to be courageous.
