The notion that there is objective, verifiable, fixed, universal, and defined truth is obsolete today, and the very idea of anything “absolute” is under attack. This opposition to truth is not new, for in every generation when the truth of Jesus Christ is declared and proclaimed, the evil one works to undermine it and sow seeds of confusion. In the books of 2 & 3 John, the Apostle John warned the first century Church— and all believers — about these dangers. John’s concern, shared by every shepherd since, was to see his spiritual children not only acknowledge the truth of the Gospel, but to walk in obedience to that truth.

In this series, Alistair Begg challenges us to avoid a counterfeit Christianity as we prioritize and defend the truth of the Gospel. A genuine Christian walk will be marked by the integrity, humility, and generosity of a life lived in response to God’s love and grace.
