While an “unsaved believer” sounds like a paradox, many who know about Jesus do not have genuinely changed hearts. Alistair Begg focuses the Gospel call on such individuals, identifying the barriers that can keep us from true faith. One barrier is our good works, by which we think we are secure. The other is our moral indignation, by which we think ourselves better than others. No matter which barrier we are hiding behind, though, we must remove the obstacles to faith and call upon the Lord.
