1 Corinthians 15:3–5  (ID: 1927)

No religion involves having a personal relationship with its central figure—none, that is, except for Christianity. In fact, the Bible tells us that it’s precisely our personal relationship with Jesus Christ that truly changes us. In this stirring Easter message, Alistair Begg discusses the powerful impact of the resurrection on that relationship. We must be willing to say no to our sin and cling to the hope of Christ, who promises our rescue and changes our hearts.

3For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, 5and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
