In the opening session of the 2007 Basics Conference, Derek Thomas and Edward Lobb share their testimonies of salvation. Following these stories of how God equipped and used them in ministry, Alistair Begg explains the purpose of the conference: to keep ministers focused on the biblical Gospel message. Just as Paul exhorted Timothy, so Alistair exhorts attendees to watch their lives and doctrine closely, living with consistent holiness and accurately proclaiming the Gospel.
