“I Who Speak to You Am He”

 (ID: 3222)

After talking to the religious expert Nicodemus, Jesus’ next encounter couldn’t have been with someone more different: a despised Samaritan—and a woman of questionable reputation to boot! Jesus didn’t shy away, though, but met her need with a startling declaration of His own identity. As a result, her entire town was transformed. As Alistair Begg makes plain, there is a lesson here for us: as Jesus’ disciples we should engage all people and point them to the one who seeks us and saves us.
