When we picture an ideal minister of the Gospel, we might imagine someone who is confident, charismatic, courageous—a born leader. Gideon the Abiezrite was none of these things. As Alistair Begg demonstrates, however, God called Gideon and clothed him in His Spirit not because of his qualifications but as a display of His grace. His story reminds us that for God’s servants, weakness is not a liability but a reason to lean on Him alone.
