When Jesus prayed for His disciples in John Chapter 17, He also provided insight into His relationship to God the Father. In this message, Alistair Begg explores the relationship between God the Father and God the Son and how this affects the work of Christ on behalf of believers. Assurance that Christ is who He said He was, and obedience to His commands, are marks of Jesus’ followers. The more we understand the deity of Christ, the more we can rest in knowing the fullness of all the riches we have in Him.
10All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. 11And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. 12While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
