“Lord, Teach Us to Pray”

 (ID: 2014)

In the Lord’s Prayer, the first word that Christ used to teach His disciples to pray was “Father.” Considering this careful phrasing, Alistair Begg unpacks the importance of our being invited to approach the sovereign and holy Lord with such an affectionate term. Scripture tells us that our position as children of God springs out of our state of redemption. When lost people are found by Christ, God promises to adopt them as His true sons and daughters.
