It is good to rejoice in the triumphs and successes of others. Far too often, though, we are instead consumed by jealously and envy. Alistair Begg encourages us to consider the effects of such sins in the life of Joseph, who was shown special favor by his father but despised by his brothers. Even so, God set him apart for a special purpose. As followers of Christ, we too are called to put aside jealousy and delight in His loving care for His children.
