“Not So With You”

Jesus’ followers are to operate by values and principles that are vastly different from those of the world around them. So when James and John petitioned for positions of honor next to Jesus, He reminded them that it is in serving that greatness is displayed. Alistair Begg challenges us to confront our pride and do away with self-aggrandizement. Rather, we should look to Jesus, who embodies humility, service, and sacrifice, and follow His example.
