Refresh My Heart (Servants of the Word)

 (ID: 3383)

The letter to Philemon shows the Gospel’s transforming power in the lives of three men: Paul, Onesimus, and Philemon himself. Different in social class and standing, these men were nonetheless united in Christ. True reconciliation could only occur among them because of the greater reconciliation that Jesus brought. Alistair Begg calls us, as members of a church community, to welcome each other into similar fellowship, which illustrates the reconciliation all Christians enjoy.
