A Single Sacrifice

 (ID: 2817)

Hebrews 10 helps us to understand Jesus’ cry from the cross, “It is finished!” At His crucifixion, Alistair Begg reminds us, Jesus “got” it all—all our sin, our alienation, and our rebellion. God became man; He took our nature that He might bear our punishment as our substitute. In Christ, we have been fully ransomed, restored, healed, and forgiven. When we remember our sin, then, we must also remember that Jesus dealt with it all at the cross.
