The Good Samaritan — Part One

 (ID: 2137)

When an expert in the law tried to catch Jesus with a straightforward question, this man didn’t need to be instructed; he needed to be humbled. In his pride, he thought he had all the answers and would be justified by his works. Alistair Begg clarifies that while respectable deeds are the infallible mark of one who is bound for heaven, they do not earn our place there.
