A Theological Vision of Singing

Of all the major world religions, Christianity is one of the few in which people gather together for the express purpose of singing. Christians, guest speaker Matt Boswell teaches, are a singing people—and no wonder, since we have such good news to sing about! In this talk, Boswell encourages church leaders to articulate a clear theological vision of congregational singing—one rooted in the fact that when we sing, we bless God’s name, disciple the church, and declare the hope of Christ to a listening world.
