Through David's Eyes, Part One

1 Samuel 17:1-58  (ID: 2962)

Throughout the Bible, God chooses the most unlikely candidates imaginable to do His work. Alistair Begg walks us through a striking example of this principle: the story of David and Goliath. Even with all the powerful soldiers of Israel present on the battlefield—including King Saul himself—God chose the shepherd boy David, because only he saw the contest clearly and stood for God’s honor. God is actively looking for Christians today who will be zealous for Him and for carrying out His work of salvation.

David and Goliath

1Now the Philistines gathered their armies for battle. And they were gathered at Socoh, which belongs to Judah, and encamped between Socoh and Azekah, in Ephes-dammim.
