Truth is Sacred - the Ninth Commandment

Exodus 20:16  (ID: 0525)

We serve a promise-keeping God who cannot lie—yet as fallen people, we cannot hope to tell the truth until we face the reality of our sinfulness outside of Christ. Considering the ninth commandment’s prohibition against dishonesty, Alistair Begg explores the many ways that we slander, deceive, and flatter those around us because of pride, selfishness, or fear. By contrast, when we choose to engage the world around us with truth, we honor God and His creation.
