Compelled to the Cross

In this reflection on the cross, Alistair Begg draws our attention to God the Father’s sovereign commitment to bring about our salvation through His Son. Despite the suffering that was to come, Jesus was determined to give His life for us, telling disciples, “I must.” While they did not comprehend this statement until later, it inspired them—as it does us today—to renewed devotion toward the Savior.
