Getting the Holy Spirit in Focus, Part Eight

The doctrine of the Holy Spirit, especially regarding spiritual gifts, has caused fear, confusion and revealed ignorance. The Corinthians were actually in a situation where people were claiming divine inspiration, but actually cursing Jesus Christ and Paul tells the Christians not to be ignorant. We learn that spiritual gifts are unearned and undeserved and given to every believer in order to better the church.We also learn that the spritual gifts do not reveal the spiritual health of the possesser.
