Some believe that Christianity is only a crutch for the weak-minded. Paul’s life suggests otherwise. As Alistair Begg makes clear, Paul was committed to winning as many as possible for the Christian faith. He did not move aimlessly, but with intentionality, remaining focused on the goal. After all, Paul pointed out, so many in Corinth were pouring themselves out for rewards that would soon wither. Why wouldn’t all Christ-followers empty themselves out for a prize that would last?
