Lessons for Life, Volume 1
Biblical Wisdom for Young Adults
Young men and women entering college or taking their first steps out into the working world will quickly find their faith put to the test. Contemporary influences encourage us to “live for the moment” and to “seize the day” without regard for eternal consequences. The pressure to thrive in a competitive society can lead to broken friendships and disappointments, even as it lures young adults away from devotion to Christ. In volume one of this series, Alistair Begg draws from Scripture to teach audiences of college students about holding firm to Christian convictions. The Bible offers practical, essential lessons on how to resist such destructive traps as laziness, jealousy, and temptation—instruction as timely as it is timeless. Using biblical and often humorous anecdotes, this series helps both the young and the young at heart navigate the pitfalls of sinful choices and attitudes and continue strong in the faith.
