Scripture lays out clear and understood objectives for the life of the believer. In 1 Timothy 6, Paul urged his protégé to flee from false teachers and the love of money and instead to pursue godly virtues. Alistair Begg examines two such virtues, righteousness and godliness, which are brought about by the transforming work of Christ in our hearts. When we conduct ourselves in accordance with God’s will and do what is pleasing to Him, our lives will give Him glory.
