Many of us are held captive by our fear of death. In contrast, when Jacob knew his demise was imminent, he saw it as God’s signal to make adequate preparations. Alistair Begg encourages us to follow Jacob’s example and plan our funerals now so we can ease the burden for our loved ones and leave powerful testimonies of faith. By trusting Jesus Christ, we can be free from the chains of fear and death.
