In a world of selfies and self-aggrandizement, it’s clear that the majority of people have made gods of themselves. The people of the prophet Jeremiah’s day had a similar problem—and the solution was a more accurate understanding of God. As Alistair Begg reminds us, only when we rightly comprehend the frailty of our own wisdom, might, and riches will we know, understand, and boast in all that the Lord is and does.
