When we start a project, we often gather materials and instructions, planning to see it to completion, only to later abandon it. Alistair Begg teaches that we who are called to righteousness in Christ are God’s project—one with the singular, unwavering purpose of making us like Jesus. Focusing on this work of God, we can see that our transformation into His Son’s likeness is intended to be gradual and continual. Unlike many of our projects, though, God’s work is a process He promises to complete.
